Please update these accordingly."

Looks like you fixed that to keep old links working... good.

Re: Weekend Quickie: Change track permalinks

4) prevent spamming
I've just received an e-mail:
"CVM Records just sent a private set called CVM Records - CVM029 - Black Indusrty EP to you and 1953 other people. " (correction: 2408 already)
Probably there is a means to mass send a tune or set? (maybe to all people that you follow? Since they've just recently started following me, and I don't follow them)
I can turn off notifications but in fact I DO like to receive notifications about tracks sent to me by people, but not by bots or spammers!

Re: Weekend Quickie: Change track permalinks

Cheers!
2) Not that important really, just could be a nice addition.
3) It seems like at this moment for some users mass following others became some kind of sport. And following more then 500 artists/labels doesn't make sense to me anyway. Or maybe not overall "follows" should be restricted, but daily, by 10 or 20. Also not a really big issue though.

Re: Weekend Quickie: Change track permalinks

Hey

I have just seen your office pics

Cool T-Shirt!

Where can I get one! I'm afraid this the only option at the moment

Re: Weekend Quickie: Change track permalinks

Thanks for the suggestions!

1) different privileges for different contacts on the same track. Go it, will discuss
2) Hmm, you are right, it's probably a little out of our short term scope at the moment
3) interesting, why?

Re: Weekend Quickie: Change track permalinks

I notice that one of the identical song's names gets -number at the end. Example /steaner/yes-you-can and /someone/yes-you-can-2
doesn't make sense.. why it can't be /steaner/yes-you-can and /someone/yes-you-can?!!

Re: Weekend Quickie: Change track permalinks

Useful addition... thanks.

Re: Weekend Quickie: Change track permalinks

Great one!

Soundcloud really is almost perfect now. I have few suggestions though:
1) Ability to choose who can and who cannot download the tracks you send while sending to different users. For example I'd like everyone to hear the track but only certain people I trust to be able to download.
2) Proper forum. Actually it's not easy to implement I see, because good forum requires moderation, several sane people who's ready to spend fair amount of time on forum.
3) Imho number of artists one can follow should be limited by 1000 or even 500.

Re: Weekend Quickie: Change track permalinks

Nice one

I have some very longwinded names for my dj mixes etc

cool

but does anyone know how to add a track they have Bern sent in the dropbox to a 'set' at all?

Thanks

Cristo

www.soundcloud.com/full_circle

Re: Weekend Quickie: Change track permalinks

Glad you like it!

Re: Weekend Quickie: Change track permalinks

This is going to come in handy especially with some of the song titles I have posted lately.
